How are Halınet carpets cleaned?

It depends on the carpet type. Washable carpets can be machine washed on a low spin cycle. Traditionally woven carpets should be cleaned by a professional carpet washing service. Vintage and handwoven carpets should be wiped with a damp cloth and never washed in water.

Which carpet suits which room?

Classic or modern patterns work well in living rooms, soft chenille/cotton carpets in bedrooms, washable carpets in kids' rooms, and washable non-slip carpets in kitchens. For hallways, long narrow runner styles are recommended.

How do I choose the right carpet size?

Standard sizes based on room dimensions: 80×150 cm (small), 120×180 cm (medium), 160×230 cm (large), 200×290 cm (living room), 240×340 cm (large living room). Add about 30 cm of margin around the area your furniture will sit on.

How do shipping and returns work?

Free worldwide shipping. Orders ship within 1 business day after confirmation and are delivered within 3-5 business days. You can return within 14 days for any reason, no questions asked. The carpet must be unused and in its original packaging.

White

4,650 styles

A white rug is the only horizontal decor piece in a home that primarily works upwards. The common feature among our 4,753 models is not their color, but their relationship with light.

Light Reflected from the Floor

The largest horizontal surface in a room is the floor, and the darker it is, the more light it absorbs. A white rug does the opposite, reflecting a significant portion of light from windows and lamps back upwards. The tangible result is less shadow under the sofa, coffee table base, and table legs. If a room feels more spacious, it's due to this measurable reflection, not merely the color's association.

Pure White is Nearly Absent on This Page

Finding a paper-white surface among 4,753 models is difficult, and this is not a shortcoming. Pure white in a rug can appear tiring and artificial, reading as gray even in the slightest shadow; in production, it's almost always broken in one direction. If the break leans warm, the result approaches cream; if it leans cool, it approaches ecru. When searching for a white rug, you are essentially deciding which of these two directions of white you prefer.

The Honest Side of White

White does not hide stains; it is the surface with the highest contrast, so tea, dirt, shoe marks, and paw prints are most visible here. The right question isn't "does it get dirty?" but "what can I do when it gets dirty?" The answer lies in the product itself: a washable model makes stains impermanent, while a non-washable, long-pile white rug will tire you out after the first accident. In which room does a white rug truly perform its best?

In low-traffic and dimly lit areas: the foot of the bed, a study nook, or a seating area that doesn't receive much daylight. Entryways, in front of the kitchen sink, and under the dining table are the three spots where white rugs face the most challenges.

Does a white rug turn gray over time?

The color itself does not change. The feeling of graying comes from fine dust settling on the surface and can be reversed with regular cleaning. Persistent dullness, however, is mostly detergent residue accumulated on the fibers; therefore, the rule of using less detergent and rinsing thoroughly is more important for white than for other colors.
