6-12 m² Rugs

Rugs larger than 6 m² are the main rugs for spacious living rooms and open-plan living areas. This page features sizes between approximately 6.5 and 12 m²; 240x340 (8.16 m²), 240x350 (8.40 m²), 200x400 (8.00 m²) and 250x350 cm (8.75 m²) are the most frequently preferred dimensions. With this size, the entire seating group can sit on the rug. When the back legs of the sofas also rest on the rug, the room is perceived as a single unit, and the walking area remains outside the rug. When choosing a size, leaving approximately 20-40 centimeters of space from each edge of the rug to the wall allows the room to breathe.

This group is also used as a space divider in living rooms with open kitchens: the rug defines the seating area, while the dining area remains on the floor. Since it is a high-traffic area, tightly woven, non-shedding, and stain-resistant models are long-lasting.
