How to clean HALINET rugs?

It depends on the rug type. Washable rugs can be machine washed on a low spin cycle. Traditionally woven rugs should be cleaned by a professional rug washing service. Vintage and handwoven rugs should be wiped with a damp cloth and never washed in water.

Which rug suits which room?

Classic or modern patterns work well in living rooms, soft chenille/cotton rugs in bedrooms, washable rugs in kids' rooms, and washable non-slip rugs in kitchens. For hallways, long narrow runner styles are recommended.

How do I choose the right rug size?

Standard sizes based on room dimensions: 80×150 cm (small), 120×180 cm (medium), 160×230 cm (large), 200×290 cm (living room), 240×340 cm (large living room). Add about 30 cm of margin around the area your furniture will sit on.

How do shipping and returns work?

Free international shipping. Orders ship within 1 business day after confirmation and are delivered within 3-5 business days. You can return within 14 days. The rug must be unused and in its original packaging.

Minimalist Rugs

2,128 styles

A minimalist rug isn't a rug with nothing on it. Most products sought after as simple rugs or modern rugs without patterns are actually found on this page, and their common characteristic is this: there is a pattern, but anything excessive has been removed. 2,261 models are gathered around this idea of reduction.

Minimalism is reduction, not absence

A practical counting rule makes things easier: a minimalist rug usually features a maximum of two tones and a single design concept. This concept might be a subtle border, a sparse group of lines, a single asymmetrical area, or a soft tonal transition. The moment a third element is added, simplicity ends, and the rug moves into another group. When looking at a model you like, count how many distinct elements are speaking; if the answer is greater than two, this is not the place you're looking for.

Simplicity is seen in the detail, not the list

In small product photos, a minimalist rug can be indistinguishable from a plain rug; the difference lies in the subtle border, the sparse motif, or the gentle tonal transition. For this reason, quickly scrolling through the list won't work for this collection. Opening a few models and examining them closely will yield results faster than superficially looking at many.

The threshold between minimalist and plain rugs

Plain rugs have no pattern; the surface is a single color. Minimalist rugs, however, have at least one design decision. If you're undecided between the two pages, the question is: do you want a single thing to look at on the rug, or nothing at all? If you're looking for a simplicity that demands regular repetition and symmetry, geometric pattern rugs are a more elaborate version of the same discipline.

Which rooms benefit from a minimalist rug?

Rooms with many objects and busy surfaces. The rug won't add to the noise there; on the contrary, it will bring the room together. In an already empty and simple room, it might be too quiet.
