How to clean HALINET rugs?

It depends on the rug type. Washable rugs can be machine washed on a low spin cycle. Traditionally woven rugs should be cleaned by a professional rug washing service. Vintage and handwoven rugs should be wiped with a damp cloth and never washed in water.

Which rug suits which room?

Classic or modern patterns work well in living rooms, soft chenille/cotton rugs in bedrooms, washable rugs in kids' rooms, and washable non-slip rugs in kitchens. For hallways, long narrow runner styles are recommended.

How do I choose the right rug size?

Standard sizes based on room dimensions: 80×150 cm (small), 120×180 cm (medium), 160×230 cm (large), 200×290 cm (living room), 240×340 cm (large living room). Add about 30 cm of margin around the area your furniture will sit on.

How do shipping and returns work?

Free shipping outside Turkey. Orders ship within 1 business day after confirmation and are delivered within 3-5 business days. You can return within 14 days for any reason, no questions asked. The rug must be unused and in its original packaging.

Mink

1,928 styles

Mink-greige is one of the most frequently asked-about colors at hali.net. It takes its name from the unique grey-brown tone of mink fur and sits precisely between grey and beige. Before browsing through 1,200+ mink-greige models, clarifying one sentence will make things easier: mink-greige is not a cooled-down beige, but a warmed-up grey.

What distinguishes mink-greige from beige and grey

Beige has a yellow base, which makes it warm. Grey is colorless, leaning neither way. Mink-greige’s mass is on the grey side; it has a measured amount of brown mixed in, but this mixture is not enough to make it beige. This is the Turkish equivalent of the intermediate tone family referred to as “greige” in catalogs. The result: a mink-greige rug behaves in a room not like beige, but like a softened grey.

The most common mistake with mink-greige rugs

When mink-greige is purchased with a beige expectation and laid in a cream-heavy room, both sides lose: the rug appears colder than it is, and the sofa and curtains look yellowed. Mink-greige does its best work in rooms dominated by grey, white, and charcoal; there, it establishes a foundation without adding harshness. If your home's dominant tones are cream and sand, the beige collection would be a safer starting point.

Is mink-greige considered grey or beige?

Its main mass is grey; the warmth within it is secondary. For someone seeking a neutral color, mink-greige offers a softer middle ground than grey and a cooler one than beige.

Does a mink-greige rug work with grey parquet or light laminate?

On grey parquet, mink-greige stays in the same family and integrates with the floor; if you want the rug's boundary to be distinct, choose a bordered or patterned model. On yellow-based light laminate, mink-greige separates from the floor, which is usually the desired outcome.

How to narrow down 1,200+ models?

Fixing the size first is the fastest way; the size calculator will show you the appropriate range for your room. The products are machine-woven, primarily polyester and polypropylene. 14-day unconditional returns, a 12-month manufacturer's warranty, and shipping within 1 business day, delivered in 3-5 business days apply to every model. Regular vacuuming of light neutral tones preserves the vibrancy of the color; steps are in the care guide.
