How are Halınet carpets cleaned?

It depends on the carpet type. Washable carpets can be machine washed on a low spin cycle. Traditionally woven carpets should be cleaned by a professional carpet washing service. Vintage and handwoven carpets should be wiped with a damp cloth and never washed in water.

Which carpet suits which room?

Classic or modern patterns work well in living rooms, soft chenille/cotton carpets in bedrooms, washable carpets in kids' rooms, and washable non-slip carpets in kitchens. For hallways, long narrow runner styles are recommended.

How do I choose the right carpet size?

Standard sizes based on room dimensions: 80×150 cm (small), 120×180 cm (medium), 160×230 cm (large), 200×290 cm (living room), 240×340 cm (large living room). Add about 30 cm of margin around the area your furniture will sit on.

How do shipping and returns work?

Free worldwide shipping. Orders ship within 1 business day after confirmation and are delivered within 3-5 business days. You can return within 14 days for any reason, no questions asked. The carpet must be unused and in its original packaging.

Pastel/Soft

939 styles

959 models. The pastel and soft page operates on a different principle than other color pages in the catalog: here, models are grouped not by color, but by color intensity.

Not a Color Page, but an Intensity Page

Blue, pink, green, gray, yellow; all can be found within this collection. Their commonality isn't that they come from the same family, but that they have white mixed into them. As saturation decreases, the color retains its identity but quiets its voice. The practical result is this: if you've decided on a specific color, it's faster to continue from that color's dedicated page. If you're more concerned with the color being soft and not loud, rather than what the color actually is, then you're in the right place.

Why Pastel Tones Don't Clash

When two saturated colors are placed side-by-side in the same room, the question of which will dominate arises. With pastels, this problem largely disappears because their intensities are equalized, and they don't overpower each other. This is why a pastel rug doesn't have to be from the same color family as the room's existing colors; a powder pink rug will sit harmoniously with a gray sofa, and a light green rug with a wooden table. If the room's color scheme is already established and you want the rug to complement it without clashing, pastels work well. If you want the opposite—for the rug to be the loudest piece in the room—then vibrantly colored rugs are the other extreme.

Light, But Not White

Because pastel surfaces are light, they don't hide stains; however, thanks to their muted tones, they are significantly more forgiving than pure white. Dust and light dirt create less contrast on a surface where saturation is already reduced. If you anticipate heavy daily use, choosing a washable model or adhering to the regular cleaning intervals in our care guide will make a difference.

Are pastel and neutral the same thing?

No. Neutral colors lack a distinct hue; pastels have one, but their intensity is low. A light pink rug is pink, while a beige rug is not a color at all. For those who want to add color to a room without making a loud statement, pastels offer something different from neutrals.

What tones are found on this page?

Predominantly powder pink, light blue, mint green, lilac, and off-white tones; within the 959 model, you'll find plain, patterned, and textured variants of these. Products are primarily machine-woven from polyester and polypropylene; shipping takes 1-3 business days, and you have a 14-day unconditional return policy.
