Black Fuchsia Floral Bedroom Rug Polyester
Other colours (8)
A floral pattern on a black background is a high-contrast choice for a rug. The darkness of the black highlights the colors of the floral motifs, making the rug a defining piece in the room. As digital printing is used on the polyester surface, the edges of the motifs remain sharp. Classified as modern in style, the product's technical specifications are defined under four headings.

Size Selection and Usage Guide
Nine sizes are available: 80x150, 100x200, 120x180, 80x300, 100x300, 160x230, 200x300, 240x340, and 300x400 cm. In rooms with black-background rugs, large sizes can visually weigh down the room; in rooms with light-colored walls and furniture, sizes of 200x300 cm and smaller yield more balanced results. For bedroom use, 100x200 cm is suitable for beside the bed.
Care and Cleaning
Four features are listed on the product card: washability, non-slip backing, pet-friendly surface, and lint-free production. On a black background, dust and light-colored pet hair will be more visible; therefore, it is advisable to increase vacuuming frequency slightly compared to light-colored rugs. The non-slip backing ensures the rug stays in place.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do black rugs look dirty quickly?
Not dirt, but dust and light-colored pet hair are more noticeable. Regular vacuuming helps the surface maintain its original appearance.
Which rooms are suitable for a floral pattern?
The product card lists the kitchen, living room, hallway, and sitting room. Floral motifs appear clearer in rooms with simple furniture.
Are non-slip backing and washability confirmed?
Yes. It is stated as washable and non-slip backing in the technical specifications, and the product labels support this.

Rug Shape Guide — Rectangular, Round, Oval, Runner, and More
Last updated: May 2026
The shape of a rug directly affects the perception of the space it occupies. Choosing the wrong shape can ruin even the most beautiful decor, while the right shape can make small spaces feel large and ordinary rooms look aesthetic. At Hali.net, you can find rugs of every shape and size in our catalog of over 113,000 products. In this guide, we explain where each shape works best.
Rectangular Rug
The most classic and frequently preferred rug shape. It's the first choice that comes to mind for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, and most living spaces. Rectangular rugs increase the perceived length of a space.
Where to Use?
- Living room (underneath seating group)
- Bedroom (under/in front of the bed)
- Dining room (underneath the table)
- Study room

Round rugs add a dynamic look to small and medium-sized rooms. Their edgeless structure brings softness and warmth to the space, keeping the eye flowing continuously.
Where to Use?
- Underneath round dining tables
- In bedrooms, especially beside the bed
- In children's rooms, in play areas
- At the entrance in a welcoming spot
- In reading nooks
Oval Rug
Oval rugs, an elongated version of round rugs, add both softness and direction to a space. They are an elegant choice that suits classic decor.
Where to Use?
- In bedrooms, especially in French-style decor
- In classic style living rooms
- In spacious entryways
Square Rug
Square rugs are perfect for spaces where you want to create a symmetrical arrangement. They are one of the favorite shapes in modern minimalist decor.
Where to Use?
- In the center of square seating groups
- In children's playrooms
- In modular living rooms
Runner
With its narrow and long structure, this rug shape is specially designed for hallways, kitchens, and transition areas. It brings aesthetic integrity to long spaces.
Where to Use?
- Main hallway
- In front of kitchen counters
- Beside beds (along the length of the bed)
- At the top of stairs
- Apartment/hotel floor corridors
In Hali.net's Runner Collection, you can find runner rug options in various lengths and patterns.
Octagonal and Special Shapes
Octagonal rugs are preferred under octagonal dining tables or in conceptual designs. Rugs in the shape of animal figures, maps, or flowers are popular in children's rooms.
