How to clean HALINET rugs?

It depends on the rug type. Washable rugs can be machine washed on a low spin cycle. Traditionally woven rugs should be cleaned by a professional rug washing service. Vintage and handwoven rugs should be wiped with a damp cloth and never washed in water.

Which rug suits which room?

Classic or modern patterns work well in living rooms, soft chenille/cotton rugs in bedrooms, washable rugs in kids' rooms, and washable non-slip rugs in kitchens. For hallways, long narrow runner styles are recommended.

How do I choose the right rug size?

Standard sizes based on room dimensions: 80×150 cm (small), 120×180 cm (medium), 160×230 cm (large), 200×290 cm (living room), 240×340 cm (large living room). Add about 30 cm of margin around the area your furniture will sit on.

How do shipping and returns work?

Free international shipping. Orders ship within 1 business day after confirmation and are delivered within 3-5 business days. You can return within 14 days. The rug must be unused and in its original packaging.

Salmon

270 styles

Salmon often sits on the pink shelf in catalogs, but its behavior is distinctly orange. The yellow undertones differentiate it from cool pinks like powder and dusty rose, making a salmon rug function more like a diluted orange than a light pink. With 306 models, it's one of the narrower selections on the site, so knowing where to look from the start will save you time.

An orange often sought on the wrong shelf

When placed next to pink models, salmon can appear indecisive and pale. However, when paired with the orange collection and earth tones, it settles in as the lightest member of the family. The color you start shopping with also influences your preferences: an eye accustomed to pinks might find salmon too muted, while an eye accustomed to warm tones will perceive the same rug as soft.

What happens when you pair gray with salmon?

A neutral gray can read as slightly greenish next to salmon. While not immediately noticeable, living with it in the same room all day can create a subtle unease. If you desire a light pink in a gray-dominant room, it's better to lean towards cooler tones; the powder collection is designed precisely for this need. Salmon, however, feels right at home in warm-neutral rooms dominated by cream, sand, and beige.

What's the difference between salmon and powder?

Both appear light pinkish, but their undertones are opposite. Salmon leans yellow, thus resembling peach and coral; powder leans gray and is cool. If the rest of your room is warm, salmon will create less friction; if it's cool, powder will be a better fit.

Are 306 models too few?

To be honest, yes, it's a limited collection. The size you're looking for and the pattern you love might not always coincide in the same product. Therefore, it's less tiring to first clarify the size and then filter the list accordingly; our rug size calculator can speed up this step.

Do marks show up faster on light-toned rugs?

Marks are more noticeable sooner on a light background; this doesn't mean the rug wears out quickly, it's simply due to high contrast. Early detection is often an advantage, as it allows for early intervention. Steps are detailed in the care guide. Models are primarily machine-woven polyester and polypropylene: 12-month manufacturer warranty, 14-day hassle-free returns, shipping within 1 business day, delivered in 3-5 business days.
