How to get an 8 m² rug into your home:

The rolled length is between 250-320 cm (8'2"-10'6"); it won't fit horizontally in an elevator and usually needs to be carried up the stairwell.
Do not unroll it outside your door. It's difficult to re-roll a rug that's been opened in a narrow hallway; carry the roll to the room where it will be laid.
Unrolling is a two-person job: one person holds the roll steady, the other pushes. If unrolled alone, the rug can slide due to its own weight.
