What happens when the pattern is applied to the surface, not the yarn?

Since the color isn't carried by the yarn, the texture doesn't need to be thick. The result is a thin, lightweight rug that can be folded instead of rolled: most of the 2,800+ models are light enough for one person to carry, fit into a washing machine, and any fold marks disappear within a few hours after drying. For the same reason, these rugs are easy to put away for moving, spring cleaning, or seasonal changes, fitting neatly onto a closet shelf. What you accept in return

Because the print sits on the surface, in high-traffic areas where the same line is constantly pressed, the pattern may fade sooner over time compared to a woven rug. Consider this for spots like doorways and hallway entrances. Still, this doesn't mean the pattern will disappear in a year; for normal room use, the difference won't be noticeable for a long time. On the other hand, since the rug is washable, you don't need to panic about spills; cleaning up spilled tea or paint by simply washing the rug is much faster than trying to clean it in place.

Three checks before putting it in the machine

• Program on the product page: Not all printed rugs can withstand the same temperature; the recommended cycle and temperature are listed in the product description.
• Machine capacity: The dry weight should not exceed half of the machine's capacity; rugs become significantly heavier when wet.
• Drying method: Drying flat and in the shade instead of using a dryer preserves both the rug's shape and the clarity of the print.
